After finishing the fieldwork for the GE.N.ESIS Project, the research team is proud to have thrown light on the underwater antiquities off Methoni. The ancient harbour and submerged breakwater are fully revealed together with the prehistoric submerged town of Methoni. Wrecks and cannons as well as parts of a medieval stone fresh-water pipeline along the surf and coastal zone are also visualised through a Geographic Information System.
